Choctaw Steel Inc. is a family-owned company located in south Louisiana. Our company was founded by Johnny Nelson in 1996, and is now owned by his son, Jerry Nelson and daughter in law, Tonya Nelson. In 2021, Tonya Nelson took majority control as owner and President. Choctaw Steel Inc. is currently certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise. We have been licensed in Louisiana since1996 and are now licensed in Mississippi as well. Our company is committed to providing quality service to south Louisiana and surrounding areas.
